The Leading Group of Talents Work of Shaanxi Provincial Committee has announced the names of five XJTU professors¡ªShan Zhiwei, Shan Wenhua, Jiang Ping, Liu Jiankang and Fang Tao¡ªwho have been selected to participate in the "One Hundred People Plan" of Shaanxi province.
The "One Hundred People Plan," organized and implemented by the Shaanxi Province Committee and the provincial government, is a talent-supporting program that is in linked with the national "One Thousand People Plan." Its purpose is to encourage and attract highly qualified professionals in various fields and to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship in Shaanxi province, with the long term goal of£ deepening the pool of talent in the province and thereby elevating the potential for innovation. The plan was initiated in 2009 and is expected to introduce and mainly support 200 high-level talents within five years to ten years.
