XJTU group of enterprises is a full-capital high-tech enterprises group invested and founded by XJTU. Its core enterprise is the general company of XJTU group of enterprises.

Since its founding in 1994, it has always stuck to the guiding idea of “development is the strongest principle”. It is supported by the XJTU's advantages of strong personnel, scientific technology and administration, utilizes the interaction among production, teaching and research, combines technology, industry and trade together and makes full use and absorption of all resources of personnel, capital, information and management in the society. It has realized great leap forward in the enterprise scale, and economic profit. By the end of 2003 its staff reached over 7000, among them 40% have senior and middle professional positions, the total assets amount to Y 3 billion, the annual sales income is over 1.5 billion. Its comprehensive force is among the best university- run enterprises directly under the Ministry of Education. It is the largest university-run enterprises in the middle and west China .

Now it has 5 groups of enterprises such as integration of light, machine and electricity, computer information, bio-pharmacy, education and trade and over 40 ventures and joint ventures. It has developed and owned over 120 transferable high-tech results. Among them 15 were evaluated as projects of state level Spark Program, 36 as projects of State Key Products Program and 75 as key products development program at ministry and province level.

Now it has been on the fast development way of “ modernization of management, pluralism of industry, scale- oriented operation and market internationalization”.

Having the historic mission assigned when XJTU was moving to the west and practicing the great principle of “Science and technology is the first productive force”, we have no limit of development and no end of challenge. We are trying our best!
